SET GOALS. TRAIN HARD. TRANSFORM.

Transform Sports is proud to offer professional training programs to elite athletes. All of our programs are at least two months long, combining gym sessions, on-ice development, rehabilitation and educational seminars to create a well-rounded athlete. Programs are run out of our brand new state-of-the-art, Performance Centre, conveniently located near Uptown Mall in Victoria.

Transforms Director Adam Geric uses the most up to date training techniques to bring elite athletes to their peak performance state. Emphasizing optimal mental performance along with proper periodization ensures athletes get the most out of every session. Matching training volumes with individual goals guarantees that players are always ready to perform at the most important times of the season. Focusing on mobility and functional movements, injury prevention is a priority for all Transform athletes.

"Seeing where athletes are when I first meet them and seeing their drastic improvements shortly after is so motivating.
I love seeing how quickly they progress in such a sort period of time and hearing how their off-ice improvements lead to major improvements on the ice.” - Adam Geric

MEET ADAM

My name is Adam Geric and I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist in Victoria, BC. Growing up in Victoria I started as a multi-sport athlete until my love and passion for hockey took over and continued to grow from there. Starting my junior hockey career, I played in the Western Hockey League (WHL) for the Saskatoon Blades.

Following my career in the WHL, I decided to further my education by attending Griffith University to study Exercise Science, while playing professionally in the AIHL. While playing in Australia and representing the country at the IIHF World Championships, I had the ambition to become a Strength and Conditioning Coach to share my knowledge and experience with future athletes.

MEET CHRIS

Chris Phillips was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and hockey has always been a huge part of his life. He played minor hockey for 15 years and really enjoyed the off ice training aspect of hockey, which fuelled his interest in health and fitness. In 2013, he started working as a Strength and Conditioning coach  and gained hands-on experience and education while working with some of the top hockey trainers in Saskatchewan in how to help athletes perform at their best. He has experience working with a range of athletes, from young kids to professional athletes .

Moving to Victoria in 2017, a casual interest in Yoga turned into a passion and in the summer of 2019, he took 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training. Since then, he has made it a key part of what he offers to the people he works with.

After joining the TRANSFORM team in October of 2020, he has felt right at home and has been able to collaborate with Adam in a supportive way to elevate the training and build a strong community environment within Transform Sports.
